He began his career as a research chemist and went on to hold a variety of senior leadership position in Technology and Operations first at DuPont and then at Koch Industries. At the time of his retirement, Dr. Grunewald was the Vice President of R&D at INVISTA and was a leader of the Koch corporate technology council.

Over the course of his career, Jerry led teams across INVISTA’s 13 global operating sites and oversaw several lab – pilot – plant process and product commercial deployments.
